Child Safety Standards
GOLLY! is a karaoke companion app with accounts, room chat, profile display names, avatars, reporting, blocking, and support services. These standards explain how we work to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our service.
Zero Tolerance
GOLLY! prohibits content, behavior, accounts, display names, chat messages, profile content, or other activity that exploits, sexualizes, endangers, solicits, grooms, traffics, or otherwise harms minors. We do not allow CSAM, attempted CSAM sharing, links to CSAM, instructions for obtaining CSAM, or sexualized interactions involving minors.
Prevention And Moderation
We use account controls, abuse-prevention systems, chat moderation, user reports, blocking tools, and manual review where appropriate to help identify and respond to safety issues. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, delete accounts, preserve relevant records, or take other action needed to protect users and comply with law.
User Reporting
Users can report safety concerns in the app through the Report user controls, including reports for inappropriate content, harassment, spam, or other concerns. Users can also block other users in the app. For urgent child safety or moderation concerns, contact support@gollytheapp.com with the room context, user display name, approximate time, and a description of what happened.
Review And Escalation
We review reports and safety signals to assess whether content or behavior violates these standards, our Terms, or applicable law. When we identify suspected CSAM or credible child safety threats, we may escalate the matter, preserve relevant information, disable accounts, and report to appropriate regional or national authorities where required or appropriate.
Law Enforcement And Authorities
We comply with applicable child safety laws and lawful requests. If we become aware of confirmed or suspected CSAM or imminent risk to a child, we may report to relevant authorities, child safety organizations, or law enforcement as required by applicable law.
