Privacy Policy
GOLLY! provides a karaoke room companion app with accounts, room chat, scoring, Pixiu avatars, closed-loop in-app points, subscriptions, and support services. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
We collect phone numbers for sign-in and account recovery, optional email addresses for account linking and support, display names, user IDs, Pixiu/avatar profile data, room participation data, chat messages, reports, block lists, support requests, purchase and entitlement records, device tokens for notifications, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention records.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide app functionality, authenticate users, operate karaoke rooms, show profiles and chat, process reports and blocks, manage in-app point balances and subscriptions, send notifications, improve reliability, prevent abuse, comply with law, and respond to support requests.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, with entitlement sync handled by RevenueCat. GOLLY! does not receive full payment card numbers. We store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, and limited billing references needed to grant Gimms, VIP, SVIP, refunds, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and support. Gimms are closed-loop in-app points for digital entertainment features and are not cash, cryptocurrency, a wallet, securities, or a financial product.
User Content And Safety
Room chat, display names, avatars, and reports may be reviewed when needed for moderation, safety, legal compliance, or support. Users can report or block other users in the app.
Retention And Deletion
Users can delete their account in the app from Profile -> Settings -> Delete my account, or request deletion at /account-deletion. Profile personal information is scrubbed immediately. Deleted accounts enter a 30-day hold window during which the user may restore the account by signing in again. After the hold expires, the Firebase Auth user and remaining account record are purged by scheduled cleanup. Some transaction, security, legal, or tax records may be retained only as required or permitted by law.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that operate the app, including Firebase/Google Cloud, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, Cloudflare, and analytics or diagnostics providers used for app functionality, purchases, hosting, security, and support. We do not sell personal information.
International Processing
Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service and data type.
Children
GOLLY! is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
